Move the casing away from the head of the flashlight and this will reveal the battery compartment. Place the batteries into the compartment ensuring that the end marked with plus (+) pole goes in first, pointing towards the rear of the flashlight. To switch the flashlight off is simply the reverse; holding the head of the flashlight firmly in one hand turn the stainless steel casing slowly in a clockwise direction until the light goes out and the casing is fully tightened. 5, Warning 1, The light from this flashlight is very powerful and should not be shone directly into anyone's eyes, as this may cause short term blindness.
